Unlocking the art of fragrance.

What is perfume?

A perfume is an aromatic composition whose natural ingredients, essences, synthetic and organic products, are combined with each other in order to provide the sense of smell with suggestive and pleasant sensations. Each of the components of the perfume has a specific olfactory function in the aromatic set, so that when we smell we feel very complex sensations; from the most ethereal, soft, fresh and natural notes to the deepest, enveloping, dense and penetrating ones. A perfume can best be described as a balanced and weighted succession of scents that constitute a harmonious whole.

60% Natural - Derived from plants, flowers, and other natural sources.
30% Upcycled - Ingredients repurposed for a sustainable future.
10% Other - Used for stability and to enhance unique scents.

VOCABULARY

VOCABULARY

The structure

The volatility of the components of a perfume is not uniform, some substances are more volatile than others. Therefore the sense of smell perceives odors in order of volatility. This structure is considered to be made up of three phases: top, heart and base.

High volatility

TOP NOTE

5-15 Minutes

Top notes offer fresh, airy, and natural sensations — often led by citrus, they create the fragrance’s first impression.

Average volatility

HEART/MID NOTE

20-60 min

Heart notes reveal floral, fruity, and wild sensations — they form the emotional core of the fragrance, adding harmony and depth.

Low volatility

BASE NOTES

Several hours up to several days

Base notes are the foundation of a perfume — deep, long-lasting, and less volatile. They provide character, warmth, and lasting presence, giving the scent its signature and staying power.
